A creative team is waiting for a client to access an upload, approve feedback, or download a large media file. Digital Pigeon can send Zapier an event when an upload is accessed, recipients are notified, a comment is added, or an upload is nearing expiry. Mobile Message can then send an SMS to a suitable recipient or team member, making the update harder to miss.

This suits producers, agencies and post-production teams that manage important file hand-offs through Digital Pigeon. An Upload Expiring Soon Event can prompt a client to access the upload before it expires, while an Upload Access Event can notify an internal contact that the recipient has opened it. Upload Status Changed can also support a message when a file moves into a new state.

The connection runs through Zapier. Digital Pigeon supplies the event and Mobile Message performs the SMS action, or creates a contact when suitable details are available. It is not a native file transfer integration, and SMS does not carry the files themselves. It simply communicates the relevant Digital Pigeon event in plain text.
