BrightPlans SMS Integration

A dental practice finishes a treatment plan and needs the patient to know that the next document is ready. BrightPlans can tell Zapier when a new treatment plan PDF is created, and Zapier can then trigger a Mobile Message SMS to the patient or a member of the practice team. The message can explain that the treatment plan is ready for the next step.

This is a focused connection for practices using BrightPlans to prepare large dental treatment plans. It does not send the PDF through SMS, and it does not create a document record in Mobile Message. Instead, the BrightPlans event starts a plain text message through Mobile Message, using the phone number and wording you configure in Zapier. You can also add filters so only selected plan types or recipients receive an alert. That removes the need for staff to notice every new PDF manually, while keeping the patient communication short and timely.

As with other Zapier workflows, the two services remain separate. BrightPlans supplies the event, Mobile Message sends the SMS, and you decide how the message is personalised. This can help a practice acknowledge a completed plan quickly without changing its treatment planning process.
