A fleet manager may learn about a vehicle crossing a boundary only after a customer or driver raises the issue. Argus Tracking can provide a Geofence Trigger when a new geofence is entered or exited, giving you a useful point to send an immediate Mobile Message alert. That removes the need to watch mapping software continuously during the day.

A Zap can pass the geofence event to Mobile Message's Send SMS action and text a fleet coordinator, driver or nominated contact. The message can identify the vehicle, location or event direction when those fields are available from Argus Tracking. This is useful for depot arrivals, restricted areas, service zones and other operating boundaries where a quick alert matters.

Argus Tracking also provides Create Geofence, but pairing that action with a Mobile Message trigger does not by itself create a result someone would notice. The sensible workflow starts with Argus Tracking's Geofence Trigger and sends a plain text notification through Mobile Message. The connection runs through Zapier, while Argus Tracking remains the system for mapping, monitoring and fleet records.
