Can a text reply from a customer add them to my AdRoll audience?

Yes. Mobile Message's Inbound SMS Received trigger can be connected through Zapier to AdRoll's Add Email to CRM Audience action, so a customer who replies to your SMS gets added to a retargeting audience automatically.

Does connecting AdRoll let it send a text automatically?

No. AdRoll does not have a trigger event that Zapier can use, so the connection only runs one way. It reacts when Mobile Message receives a reply, it cannot start an SMS from an AdRoll event of its own.

How do I set up AdRoll to receive customers who reply by SMS?

You create a Zap in Zapier linking your Mobile Message and AdRoll accounts, no coding required. Choose the Inbound SMS Received trigger and set the Add Email to CRM Audience action as the result, then switch the Zap on.
