Zamzar SMS Integration

You are preparing a converted file for a customer when the final format becomes available, but someone still needs to know it is ready. Zamzar can send a successful conversion event into Zapier, where Mobile Message sends a plain text notification. This keeps a customer or colleague from repeatedly checking a conversion queue and gives them a clear next step.

Zamzar provides New File and New Conversion Job triggers. A Zap can use either event to send a Mobile Message SMS containing the converted file’s name, status and a link if one is available in the data passed through the workflow. You can also use Convert File or Create Content File in a wider process, then notify the recipient once the relevant conversion has completed.

The connection is made through Zapier, not through a native two-way link between the services. It suits teams that prepare documents, images, audio or video in different formats and need a timely notice when processing finishes. Keep the message focused on the result, since SMS is plain text and the recipient will use the supplied details to access the file.
