A document workflow can finish while the person waiting for its output is still watching another system. Windward Hub’s Output Finished event can start a Zapier workflow that sends an SMS through Mobile Message. This gives an operator or customer a prompt notification when generated output is ready.

For example, a completed document output can trigger a text containing its name, reference or next instruction. Teams can use the event to alert a coordinator, ask someone to review the result or confirm that a process has reached its document stage. Mobile Message can also create a contact when the output event includes a suitable recipient number.

Windward Hub remains responsible for document templates, versions and output. Mobile Message sends the plain text notification, while Zapier passes the selected fields between the accounts. The available Windward Hub action, Process a Template, can also be started by an Inbound SMS Received event when a text should request template processing. Configure each direction as its own workflow.
