Recruiters and hiring teams using Willo often need to move candidates through interview stages without adding more administration. A new video response can trigger an SMS through Mobile Message, letting a candidate know their response was received or alerting a coordinator that review can begin. A stage change can also send a clear update when a candidate is accepted or rejected.

Willo provides New Response, Stage Change and New Event triggers. Pair New Response with Send SMS for an acknowledgement, or use Stage Change to notify a candidate or internal recipient when the response moves to Review, Accept or Reject. Willo’s Invite Someone action can work in the other direction when an inbound Mobile Message event should invite someone to complete an interview. This connection is configured through Zapier, with the relevant fields mapped between the two services.

You can also use Create Contact after a response arrives when a candidate should be recorded in Mobile Message. Keep candidate communications appropriate to your recruitment process and avoid placing confidential assessment details in a text. Willo remains the interview workspace, while Mobile Message handles the selected SMS or contact action.
