Somebody shares a video link, and if you want to text a colleague or a customer the gist of it, you end up watching the whole clip yourself just to pull out a quote or the key point. Supadata removes that manual chase, pulling a full transcript or clean metadata from a YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or X video without anyone needing to sit through it first.

Its Get Transcript action returns the text spoken in a video, while Get Metadata pulls details such as the title and description. Both are useful the moment you need to pass information from a video into a message, a report, or another step further along in a Zap, instead of typing it out by hand after watching.

Supadata does not publish an event of its own to start a Zap, so it works best as a processing step behind a trigger from another app, turning a video link into text that a later step, including an SMS sent through Mobile Message, can then use. On its own it will not fire a message, but it does make sure whatever gets sent describes the video accurately rather than just linking to it and hoping someone watches.
