Bookkeepers and office admins who spend their day chasing paperwork are the ones who get the most out of Savvy Folders, since it can file a new document into the right folder automatically based on today's date or on what's inside the file. On its own this keeps a filing cabinet tidy, but it also sits neatly in the middle of a bigger Zap, taking a document from wherever it arrived and filing it away before the next step even runs.

That middle step is useful in Zaps that end with Mobile Message sending a text. An overdue invoice in Xero can be filed into a dated folder in Savvy Folders on its way to Mobile Message texting the customer a payment reminder. A new form response in Google Forms or a new Typeform entry can be filed the same way, based on its content, before a confirmation text goes out letting the customer know it's been received and is on file.

None of this changes what Savvy Folders does, it still files a document by date or by content, but doing that inside a Zap means the filing happens at the same moment a customer gets a text, not as a separate task someone remembers later. Setting it up in Zapier needs a Savvy Folders account, a Mobile Message account, and whichever app is starting the Zap already connected.
