A guest books a stay or appointment, then the team starts counting down to arrival while trying not to miss a reminder. Planyo can start a Zap when a reservation is confirmed, a payment is received, a customer checks in, or a booking is cancelled. Mobile Message can send an SMS, create a contact, or add a contact to a list.

The most useful workflows send a confirmation text after a reservation, a reminder before an event, or an update when a customer checks in or cancels. A new or updated customer can also create a Mobile Message contact, while a payment event can prompt a short receipt acknowledgement. Through Zapier, Planyo reservation fields are mapped into the selected Mobile Message action, so staff do not need to copy booking details into a texting platform. The connection does not manage reservations in both directions. Planyo remains the booking system, and Mobile Message handles the SMS or contact action selected in the Zap. Use the before-or-after event triggers for timed reminders that match the notifications configured in your Planyo backend.
