A customer who calls and cannot get through hangs up without leaving a voicemail, and unless someone checks the call log they never hear back at all. A New Incoming Missed Call event can trigger Send SMS, so the caller gets a message letting them know the business saw the call and will be in touch, all without a person dialling back manually. A New Incoming Call event, answered or not, can trigger Create Contact, so every caller is saved as a contact in Mobile Message without anyone typing details in by hand.

On the outbound side, a New Outgoing Answered Call event can trigger Send SMS as a follow up, so a customer who just finished a sales call receives a text summary or next step while the conversation is still fresh. The overall effect is that a phone system built for calls also becomes the trigger for the text messages that keep a customer moving forward, without anyone tracking call logs by hand.
