A team may finish a DataFuel scrape and still need to send a message based on the information it produced. Reviewing the scrape, copying values into another tool and preparing an SMS by hand adds a separate task after the website data is ready. DataFuel can also be used as a preparation step in a wider Zap, where another business event starts the workflow and the scraped result helps shape the final message.

DataFuel’s New Scrape trigger can start Mobile Message’s Send SMS action when a URL is successfully scraped. Its List Scrapes and Crawl a Website actions are utility steps, so they can prepare or retrieve website information before a later SMS action in a Zap. Keep the message focused because SMS is plain text, and map only the website details that are appropriate to send. The connection is made through Zapier and does not represent a two-way sync between DataFuel and Mobile Message. It is best suited to targeted alerts where a completed scrape is itself the useful event.
