A customer texts back with a question and, without anyone lifting a finger, that reply is already logged against their contact record by the time a team member opens Mesh. That is the end result of pairing Mobile Message with Mesh through Zapier, using the Inbound SMS Received event to keep a personal CRM current without manual data entry.

When someone texts in for the first time, Mesh's Create or Update Contact action can add them as a new contact or refresh an existing one, so the relationship is captured the moment contact happens rather than after someone remembers to type it in later. A separate reply can instead run the Create Note action, attaching the substance of what was said to that person's record in Mesh, whether it is a change of plans, a question, or a simple thank you.

Over time this builds a record of every conversation a business has had by text, sitting alongside the emails, calls and social messages Mesh already tracks. Nobody has to remember to write it down, the note or contact update is already sitting in Mesh by the time anyone goes looking for it.
