A supporter completes an Action Page donation while your fundraising team is busy preparing the next campaign. If acknowledgement depends on a manual export or an inbox check, the donor may not hear from you until much later. A Zap can use AP Donation Completed in Anedot to send a prompt thank-you SMS through Mobile Message.

The same approach can support other moments in the donation process. Donation Refunded/Voided can trigger a carefully worded message about the change, while Submission Created can notify a relevant contact when a new submission event occurs. These messages can be brief, personal and focused on the information the recipient needs, rather than relying on staff to copy details between systems.

Through Zapier, Anedot supplies the fundraising event and Mobile Message sends the plain text SMS. You decide which event should send a message, map the available phone and donor fields, and add any safeguards needed for your audience.
