A new starter asks in Slack where to find the current returns policy, and Chat Aid answers straight away because it already knows the document that describes it. Getting there depends on documents being trained into it first, whether they live in Dropbox or Google Drive, so the assistant is only ever as current as the last file someone fed it.

Mobile Message does not plug into that lookup step directly. Its own Zapier triggers cover inbound text replies and delivery status updates, and Chat Aid's actions cover training a Dropbox file or training a Google Drive file into its search index, two processes that do not naturally connect to each other. A customer texting in is not the same event as a document being added to a knowledge base, so there is no automation here that would join the two without inventing a link that is not really there.

Where the value sits instead is keeping the two tools separate and running side by side, Chat Aid handling internal search across trained documents while Mobile Message handles outbound and inbound text messaging with customers, each doing the job it is built for. A support team can lean on Chat Aid to answer internal questions quickly while the same team relies on Mobile Message for the customer-facing side of things, without expecting one to feed the other.
